Question: YTM of Corporate Bonds?

Where can I find the YTM and other info. on Corporate Bonds, such as Target's? I have to compare it to treasury yields for a semester-long project for a finance class but have been unable to locate this information on financial websites that I visit. Any help is much appreciated.

Answer: One of the best places to find bond quotations is the FINRA Bond Center site:

http://cxa.marketwatch.com/finra/BondCenter/Default.aspx

Here you can simply enter the symbol of the underlying corporation (for Target, it is TGT) and commence your search.

The site provides the yield and price information as well as maturity date, call features, and ratings information.

The site also provides comparable information for US Treasury securities. Find a Treasury of similar maturity date and its yield. The difference in yields is called the spread.

Hope that helps.
