Question: Can you please refer me cpi-linked Corporate Bonds?
i live in USA.
i am looking for cpi-linked Corporate Bonds that mature within 2 to 4 years with a yield of at least 6% per annum.
Can you please refer me to a list of trading symbols of cpi-linked Corporate Bonds that pay Permanent a fixed interest of at least 6% per annum ?
Answer: There are inflation linked Treasuries. They wont' yield 6%. However the current yield is higher because the TIPS are being priced for expected deflation.
Both investment grade and High-Yield corporate bond yields are high right now giving attractive opportunities for investors. It is not worth taking specific company risks. It is better to use an ETF or mutual fund structure. See the links below for a couple of examples at both ends of the risk spectrum:
a) The first one is an ETF that tracks an investment grade bond fund index. The current yield is 5.79%
b) The second one is an ETF that tracks the LB High Yield Bond Index that offers a current yield of over 15%
